One of my 2020 highlights was getting to know the TNDC team, learning about the vital work they do building affordable homes and supporting communities in San Francisco. In "The Before", the TNDC team was well known in the Bay Area for their whacky annual fundraising events - in one, donors literally get tossed in a pool. Since the face of fundraising has changed in the past 2 years, I've worked with TNDC to reimagine their community outreach - we've created an explainer video to reach potential donors, send animated greeting cards to their community members, and set their logo assets in motion for their organizational rebrand. But perhaps the most unique of all our collaborations is their seasonal Pool Toss. For 2 seasons now, I've worked with their fundraising team to “virtualize” this event - while still inspiring camaraderie, honoring donors, and raising the funds needed to continue to serve the Tenderloin community.
