My background in educational animation is not limited to work behind the camera.

As an educator myself, I’ve taught filmmaking workshops around the world in traditional and non-traditional classroom settings ranging from suburban middle schools to the NYC shelter system, and even to a refugee camp on the border of Somalia.

I’ve designed workshops of all lengths and sizes - quick and messy animation basics for conference attendees, professional development courses for STEAM classroom teachers, virtual sessions for international festival attendees, and months-long programs in which young people learn to direct and animate their own films.
