#MetKids Microscope
Animated Series - Season 1
#MetKids Microscope is a 6-episode series about the science behind the art (and the art behind the science!) at The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City.
In 2021, I was tapped by The Met to direct their first ever animated series. Each episode highlights the conservation and research work of the museum's scientists, spotlights gems from the impressive collection, and introduces at-home, kid-friendly science experiments. I worked closely with The Met's production and education teams, with regular input and wisdom from the scientists and curators.
My international all-star team included designer Tara Sunil Thomas, animator Sara Zarul Azham,
compositor Tom Bayne, and master experimenters, Mia Nacamulli and Téo Nacamulli Tabet.
